Connectivity In addition to traditional analogue signals, Wordnet will also directly record digital audio signals, including ISDN Primary Rate, ISDN Basic Rate, PCM30, PCM32 and proprietary interfaces, including BT, IPC, Ericsson, SDX, Syntegra, Reuters and Siemens.

Storage

Through the introduction of a new compression algorithm based on GSM technology Wordnet offers higher storage capacities than other recorders, while also offering superior audio quality. The dual DAT archive decks can be used in parallel, sequential or autocycle archive modes, offering up to 3960 channel hours of recording. Alternatively, Wordnet can be supplied with a Mass Storage Unit containing dual DAT autochangers, providing a total archive capacity of 20,000 channel hours.

Accessibility

In addition to disk-based storage of up to 1200 channel hours with instant access, Wordnet provides a unique clipboard facility - a secure area on the hard disk for working messages, accessible at all times. User friendly operation is assured through the availability of both local and remote options. Wordnet can be operated as a stand-alone unit, or alternatively via one of the remote control options:
